Academic + Creative Technologist + Musician

Priscilla is a creative technologist, character artist and musician. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Chartered IT Professional, a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Fellow of the London College of Music, a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training.

She has a First Class BSc (Hons) in Creative Technologies and Enterprise, as well as several master’s degrees. In addition to PFHEA, she holds a CertEd (FE), a PGCE (QTS), a PgCert LTHE and a PGDip in Lifelong Learning. These qualifications enable her to teach and lead across all education and training sectors.

Her research interests include musicians and their role in the metaverse; new types of media for the metaverse; audiences in the metaverse; audience perspectives on digital asset interoperability; generative AI for the metaverse; and the impact of generative AI.

As a creative technologist, she draws on over three decades of lecturing and senior leadership experience in education to identify ways of supporting organisations transitioning to the metaverse, artificial intelligence and other learning technologies.

As a multidisciplinary artist, she specialises in designing avatars and characters for gaming platforms and creates virtual reality experiences. She produces VR art and music, and pushes the boundaries of creative practice through collaborations with generative AI to produce a diverse array of artistic works.
